Right. So now that the Island detour is basically over and we're back in WiFi range, here's my update as to what went on.

So as you all might recall we were stranded on an Island out at Point Nemo run by the mysterious Kahale.

We got stuck there when Matsumi arranged for an Island vacation trip with Kahale (not knowing who she was - a splinter fragment / sister of Chateaux.

I and some others had a sense that we were there for a reason, so rather than frantically work at escaping, we decided to enjoy the sights and play things out as they came for the time being, which worked out well.

In addition to the usual resort-y stuff, there were a lot of interesting sights on The Island.
Livia came across an amazingly relaxing lagoon in the depths of the island that left me feeling completely refreshed and at inner peace with myself but I'm not sure why.

Things took a turn when Matsuo Shin found some strange ruins that had carvings on them no one could decipher.

Looking at the strange glyphs caused some of us to somehow become body-swapped with ourselves fifteen years from the future.

I have to say I'm not fond of the hair I was rocking then.

At any rate, we found ourselves at a resort on Kaguya Island, where the Sailor Senshi are revered celebrities due to their famous battle there some years prior. After some exploration, the purpose of our being on Point Nemo island suddenly became clear thanks to notes from my time-displaced future self left for me - we learned of a massive, world-ending threat that had occured back in 2024 (amongst the existence of other things.

After going on a quest based on the notes future-me-in-past-me left for past-me-in-future-me, I was able to go back to the present day.

When I came back, I found that the Island was under seige by eldritch fish-people creatures from the sea.Matsuo and I raced against the clock to put together the final clues my future self had left behind.

That fight got scary!!

Yeah. we ended up facing an Old One who, we defeated thanks to the help of lots of our friends like Haru and Solar's forces as well as Matsumi and her family. and drained of their energy, was revealed to have the form of a little girl named Narisa.

After all that excitement, Daniel Kakaku found and explored a mysterious raft, and Chibiusa and Ema investigated a mysterious map in a bottle related to it that seemed to point to an island, but without internet access we couldn't follow up. We'll probably do that once we've settled in now that we're back home.
